This will end up being the last decent chase of the year. Ended up on a LP Supercell near Whitehall, WI eventually meeting up with Jacob Tepsa again in a marginal severe weather day. For the low risk day the storm looked really neat on the 360 camera and was really close to home, maybe 40 minutes or so. After today the region really went quite or the storms didn’t line up with off days. In fact the whole month of August there wasn’t a single severe storm warning for the NWS La Crosse warning area. Very unusual for them as it is usually a time when High moisture storms create MCS and QLCS systems. So essentially this wrapped up my chase season. Was a very fun year, looking forward to 2018.
